Adin Ross vows to help TikTok prankster Heston James as he faces 9 years in jail

Adin Ross is stepping up to help TikToker Heston James after his over-the-top prank videos got him some serious charges.

In July, 21-year-old Heston Cobb, known online as Heston James, wasarrested by Arizona policeafter they linked him to a series of incidents where he posed as an employee at local businesses and filmed chaotic scenes for content.

Oneviralclip with 12M views featured Cobb impersonating a mechanic at Hyland Auto Repair, telling staff he was “from corporate” before a van of pranksters arrived and began crawling under customers’ cars.

TheTikTokerwas charged with burglary, criminal impersonation, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. If he’s convicted on all counts and sentenced to the maximum, Cobb could face up to 9 years and 8 months in jail.

While Cobb has startedselling shirts with his mugshoton them to pay for his legal fees, Kick star Adin Ross has offered some assistance and even cover the lawyer costs for the prankster.

During a stream,Adin Rossstarted talking about James, revealing that his lawyer reached out about possibly helping him.

“Here’s my thing, there are people who deserve to go to jail for a long time and they get less than him. You know what I’m trying to say?” he said. “Like, 9 years for f**king pranks?”

At the moment, Heston James hasn’t been found guilty and the 9-year punishment would be the maximum penalty based on his charges.

“I’m gonna help him, f**k it. Let’s help him out. Tell Heston I got him. My lawyer wants to take on this case. We’re gonna get him out of there,” Adin proclaimed. “I ain’t gonna lie, though. These fees are about to be six figures, but he’s a kid. I’ll do it.”

Meanwhile, the police who arrested Cobb havewarned other prankstersthat their antics will have consequences.

“This is actually going to get you charges,” Officer Ells said. “Are you ready to face the fact that you could be going to jail for a prank just to get some views?”

Earlier this year, TikTok creator Charles Smith, known online as Wolfie Kahletti, wassentenced to one year in prisonfor spraying pesticide on food at a Walmart in Mesa, Arizona, as part of his own viral stunt.
