Black Ops 6 is still missing iconic CoD gun that actually appears on cover art
Call of Duty fans can’t quite believe that Black Ops 6 is still missing an iconic gun despite the fact that it actually features on the game’s cover art.
With seasonal updates becoming a regular thing,Call of Dutyfans have become accustomed to new weapons being added to the mix every few weeks. This has been the same for Black Ops 6 too, with tonnes of new options being added.
However, players have been expanding the M1911 pistol to be added since Season 1. The iconic sidearm, which has been a staple in the Black Ops series and a fan-favorite as Mustang and Sally in Zombies, has yet to feature inBlack Ops 6.
Some fans have continued to point out that the pistol actually plays a key part of the game, given it is on the cover art. However, they cannot believe it is still missing in action.
Black Ops 6 fans still want M1911 pistol added
“Still no 1911, despite having two on the cover of the game,” Redditor IronChewiecomplained. “The choice of pistols in BO6 is bizarre. No 1911. No Berretta 92. it makes no sense. You’d think the 1911 would be on day one, given the cover art.”
Other players agreed too, noting that the pistol is actually a part of some character skins. “The 1911 is also on some character models. IIRC Weaver’s base skin has one,” one pointed out.
“All the “90s” hype during the build up just to have no revolver, m9, or 1911 still baffles me,” another said. “No room for cool real s*it, only demonic candy land skins and whackadoodle rainbow guns,” added another.
Some players pointed out that the Mustang and Sally side of the M1911 has been replaced by the GS45. Though others argued that it is the “worst” gun in Black Ops 6 and there is room for the more iconic version.

Others suggested that the pistol may be being kept aside for Black Ops 7 or the final big update of BO6. However, time is running out on that front.
