Concord dev’s commemorative plaque hits auction & the price is already soaring
A Concord commemorative launch plaque is being auctioned at Goodwill, and it’s already being bid at a surprising price.
RememberConcord? It’s been a while since its demise, but for a brief moment, the sci-fi hero shooter was a huge topic back in late 2024. Though not exactly for a good reason.

While it was still around, the game was criticized for its lack of polish, including in terms ofcharacter designsand overall gameplay. Not to mention, it had a $40 price tag in an era when other games from the same genre were free to play.
Almost nobody played the game, leading to it gettingshut downin just two weeks. Fast forward to 2025, and a plaque of the game has just been spotted being auctioned online.

A Concord developer’s launch plaque ended up at Goodwill
Some video game companies are known to give their staff exclusive merch, and Firewalk Studios is no different.

This is evident in the commemorative plaque that somehow ended up inGoodwill, which already has a bid of over $3,000.00 right now.
Included in the plaque is the name of Chelsea Grace, who, according to the game’s credits, was part of the art department team. Not only that but the artwork for the game and the disc were also bundled up together in the plaque.

Before jumping to conclusions, though, it’s worth noting that the seller of the plaque was listed as Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region, not Chelsea herself.
So, with that in mind, it’s currently unclear if the piece of memorabilia ended up there because it was never sent to her in the first place or if someone else had donated it.
Either way, it’s understandable if someone wants to move on after everything that happened to the game andstudio.
