Genshin Impact 4.5 update: Release date, banners, events, & more

Genshin Impact‘s upcoming 4.5 update is set to be released in March 2024 and will feature some exciting new banners. Here’s everything we know so far about the next update for the beloved HoYoverse title.

Genshin Impact version 4.5 is set to introduce a brand new character called Chiori in thegame. She is a 5-star Geo unit who will likely function as a sub-DPS and support characters likeArataki IttoandNavia. Additionally, a brand new event wish is set to be added to the game as well.

Does Genshin Impact 4.5 have a release date?

Genshin Impact version 4.5 is set for release on July 24, 2025,across the world.

Genshin Impact 4.5 will feature the brand new character Chiori and a couple of rerun units. The banners along with their phases have been listed below;

The 4-star units that will feature in the banners are still unknown and will be updated at a later date.

Genshin Impact 4.5 update new Event Wish

Genshin Impact 4.5 update will feature a third banner and a new wish. This will be calledChronicled Wishand will cycle every patch. This banner willonly feature 5-star unitsand there will befate points of at most one. This means the first 5-star will probably be 50-50 and the second 5-star will be guaranteed. You canchoose either 5-star characters or weapons.

Genshin Impact 5.5 update banners & events

Additionally, if you lost 50-50 for the first time,the unit you get will match the type you selected. In other words,if you selected a character, you will not get a weapon, and vice versa. Thecharacters present in this banner need to have had at least three event wish banners until nowand should not have been featured in any recent banners.
