As seen in Dim’s leak, the internal codenames for each character skin was obtained, with Kirara being referred to as Momoka – a codename that had been used in the leaks prior to Kirara’s release last year. While new character skins are expected forGenshin Impact4.8 given the regular release schedule, the leaked units receiving them are fairly surprising.

The leaks about Nilou and Kirara’s skins in Version 4.8 are somewhat astonishing given the fact that neither unit is extremely popular among team comps, be they for regular gameplay or for challenging the Spiral Abyss, for instance. Dim also obtained the 3D base renders of the rumored character skins. Nilou’s skin, as seen onReddit, seems to showcase the character in multi-layered clothing and a crown of laurels adorning her headpiece.Little else can be discerned from it due to the lack of more textures and coloring. Kirara’s skin, which was also posted onReddit, shows the Dendro character wearing high boots, a corset, and a hat, which has a bow-shaped adornment that resembles her feline ears.
Clearer details about the skins should be leaked as the game approaches the release of Version 4.8 in mid-July.
For now, these leaks should be considered with caution, as they me be inaccurate or subject to change. Nevertheless, despite how surprising the character choice for these rumored skins may be, new cosmetics are always welcome. It seems like this will be a particularly good patch for Kirara, as she may not only get a F2P (free-to-play) skin but also be offered as afree character inGenshin Impact4.8if the leaks are to be trusted.
