Georgie & Mandy is going on another big break and there’s a simple reason
It feels like we’ve only just said hello again toGeorgie & Mandy, but already it’s going back off the air for another lengthy hiatus. Why? The reason is staring us in the face.
So far, 2025 has had plenty of whiplash for theYoung Sheldonspinoff.George returnedfrom the grave to half-zombie form, Connor seems to have had a complete personality transplant, and our titular couple have argued more times thanSheldonhas solved a science problem.
There’s no sign of the drama stopping, either. Audrey is on her own quest to transform from villain to hero, Meemaw has started up yet another illegal gambling business, and Mary and Missy will soon come to blows over Missy’s rebellious teen streak.
But before we can get there, Georgie & Mandy is vanishing once again. If you don’t already know the reason why, prepare to be frustrated.
March Madness wipes out Georgie & Mandy on CBS
We had it duringYoung Sheldon Season 7, and now we’ve got it during Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.The spinoff is breaking until June 10, 2025, so March Madness coverage can begin.
For those unfamiliar, March Madness is a key part of the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament. Playing off 68 teams in single-elimination tournaments, it’s not surprising that basketball is taking up a fair bit of the rest of the month.
This means episodes that typically would have aired on March 20 and March 27 are now being held for three weeks – but unlike Young Sheldon, this is causing less of a problem this time around. Because episodes are taped in front of a live audience, production on Georgie & Mandy has been tailored to fit around these dates, meaning the eventualseason finale dateof August 18, 2025 stands in place.

Episode 14 only dropped yesterday, but we now also have our first taste of what’s to come in Episode 15.
Titled ‘Goddess of the Music Store,’ the episode synopsis reads, “Georgie helps Connor impress his new crush, while Mandy, Audrey and Jim struggle to butt out of Connor’s love life.”
While we don’t yet have any episode titles or synopses for what comes after, Instagram posts from Raegan Revord tell us both Mary and Missy are coming back… and it will be explosive.
In thepost, the two can be seen yelling at each other in the Cooper kitchen, which is the first time the house has properly been used in real-time, Georgie’s dream aside.
