The Pitch-Black Stone is an unlockable feature inHades 2through an Incantation. You can interact with this item to challenge various Trials bestowed by Chaos. The Pitch-Black Stone appears in the training grounds and will not be available without first encountering the Primordial Originator. There are currently nine Chaos Trials available in the early access ofHades 2and each must be unlocked before they can be cleared.
Chaos returns inHades 2and offers his Boons to Melinoë in her fight against Chronos. When clearing an encounter, you may see a Chaos Gate appear. Players will have the choice to visit the Primordial Originator by offering some of their lives.The normalBoons bestowed by Godsare different from Chaos. These have a negative effect for a set number of encounters and turn into a positive effect. Before speaking to Chaos, Melinoë can gift some Nectar to Chaos. This will add more lore to the Book of Shadows and isneeded to unlock the Pitch-Black Stone.

How To Unlock The Pitch-Black Stone In Hade 2
By speaking to Chaos after giving at least one Nectar and receiving multiple of their Boons, you will unlock the Abyssal Insight Incantation. This is used to unlock the Pitch-Black Stone in the training grounds. Once concocted, this feature is located directly above the Infernal Arms. The Incantation requires 2x Fabric, 2x Pearls, 2x Nightshade, and 2xMoly inHades 2. Every Chaos Trial that is currently available in Hades2early access can be found below:

How To Unlock More Chaos Trials
Not every Chaos Trial will be available for every player upon obtaining the Pitch-Black Stone. These each requirea specific area to be completed, and theright weapon aspect unlocked, whilesome also require a certain keepsake. This is because every Chaos Trial equips Melinoë with a specific build. You will only need to beat the boss of the specific area to finish the challenge.
Upon completion, players will be rewarded with Star Dust. The difficulty of each Chaos Trial will be detailed with red eyes on the side of the screen from one to five. Collect all weapon aspects and keepsakes to unlock all the Chaos Trials inHades 2.
