Harley Quinn is Bringing Out Maxie Zeus' True Potential
After going through a huge multiversal event, Harley Quinn gladly returned back to Gotham City. But Harley was tired of living life on the straight and narrow and after a night of crime with her girlfriend Poison Ivy, Harley decided to try villainy again. This time, however, she decided she’d do crime on her terms. Wanting to blend her love of villainy with her psychiatric skills, Harley opted to help villains who could use a mental health professional while engaging in crime. After a successful heist with the Body Doubles,Harley Quinn set out to look for her next patient.
When it comes to Gotham villains, Maxie Zeus isn’t exactly A-list. That’s not to say being a villain like Joker or Scarecrow is what Zeus wants, he just wants to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, losses against Batman and Robin have seriously eroded his confidence and prevented him from being his best self. But Harley is genuinely interested in improving Maxie and with just one adventure,Harley Quinn helped Maxie Zeus find his inner strength and take on Robin. Zeus isn’t the only joke villain in Gotham and Harley could potentially bring the best out of them as well.

Harley Quinn Could Turn Gotham’s Worst Into the Best
In addition to its big villains, Gotham is rife with underdog villains like Egghead or Condiment King. Sure, they might be jokes in the eyes of many, but they likely lack the same confidence as Maxie Zeus did. If Harley can get someone like Zeus to be taken seriously, anything’s possible for Gotham’s sillier, lower-ranking villains. At the end of the day, Harley just wants Gotham’s villains to be mentally healthy in regard to how they do crime. If she stays committed to that,Harley Quinncould wind up really transforming Gotham’s criminal underground.
