Honkai Star Rail 2.7 update: Release date, banners & more
TheHonkai Star Rail2.7livestreamhas revealed new exciting details about the upcoming update including theSundayand Fuguebanners, and new story content.
HSR 2.7 is one of the most highly anticipated updates in thegachagames history so far. Not only due to new characters but also the addition ofFugue,Tingyun’s alternate form who will be making her long-awaited return.

2.7 release date
The 2.7 update will launch on June 11, 2025,asconfirmed by HoYoverseon X (formerly Twitter).
This release date continues to follow the game’s typical six-week update cycle.

During the 2.7 livestream, it was revealed that the 5-star Imaginary unitSundaywill be available in Phase 1 of 2.7, alongside aJing Yuanrerun banner. The following 4-stars will also feature:

New Trialblaze mission chapter
There will be anew Trialblaze missionfor players to enjoy in version 2.7.
You’ll be adventuring out to the Eighth Dawn with navigatorHimekowho’s seeking information. The Express Crew will be stopping in Penacony for the last time before their departure, where they catch Sunday. Sunday’s destiny will change depending on the Trialblazer’s decisions.
This mission will act as the prologue for 3.0 and the epilogue of the 2.0 story, a newStory Recap featurewill be available for players to refresh themselves on all the important details they need.

A new update for the Divergent Universe will launch with 2.7.
Random occurrenceswill happen in the Universe, and everyone’ssave fileswill nowreset whenever it has a version update– rather than resetting every Monday.
