With dozens of unique gameplay features and a wide range of shockingly diverse chapters to get through, not to mention all the Side Stories, Benches, and otherEaster eggsto track down, there’s a great deal here to sink your teeth into. So, here’s how bigSplit Fictionis, especially compared to Hazelight’s previous work.

Split Fiction time to beat: Main story & 100% completion

Our playthrough of Split Fiction took us 12 hours to complete.Along the way, we stopped to smell the roses plenty of times, completing every single Side Story and finding all the hidden Benches.

If you’re aiming to 100% complete Split Fiction, thenyou’re looking at around 16 hours, including exploration, Side Stories, and locating all the easter eggs.

The game has eight chapters all up, with a total of 85 levels across them – including the Side Stories. Some chapters are certainly longer than others, but given how rapidly the game changes pace, genre, and even graphical style, you’ll be kept on your toes all the way through.

Most importantly, while Side Stories add a bit of time to the overall game’s length, calling them Side Stories doesn’t do it justice. These are genuinely excellent levels well worth every moment of your time. If you come across one, do yourself a favor and jump in. Do not skip anything in Split Fiction.
