The Master Chief skin was initially released on July 08, 2025. However, it is back in the game as of June 08, 2025, and will be around until July 20, 2025. Players have time until then to getthis skinbefore it rotates out.

Players can purchase the Master Chief skin in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. This is the price for the individual outfit, which already has the Battle Legend Back Bling included.

Can you unlock the Matte Black Master Chief style?

Yes, after some confusion, Epic Games is now allowing players to unlock the Matte Black Master Chief style.Shortly after Master Chief’s return, Epic said the Matte Black style would remain limited to those who purchased the outfit and played on Xbox Series X|S before December 2024.

The company has since reversed course, noting that users can unlock the much-coveted style by playing a match on Xbox Series X|S after acquiring the regular outfit.
