Can you unlock the Matte Black Master Chief style?
Yes, after some confusion, Epic Games is now allowing players to unlock the Matte Black Master Chief style.Shortly after Master Chief’s return, Epic said the Matte Black style would remain limited to those who purchased the outfit and played on Xbox Series X|S before December 2024.
The company has since reversed course, noting that users can unlock the much-coveted style by playing a match on Xbox Series X|S after acquiring the regular outfit.
A tweet on theFortnite Statusaccount apologizes for the confusion, while confirming the style “will remain available as an unlockable style for playing on the platform in line with our original post.”
