The main thing you will need to do to start your Scribing journey iscomplete the Wing of the Indrik questline, which will also unlock Luminous Ink. You will have 3 Luminous Ink to begin your Scribing journey and the ability to buy a Grimoire. TheGrimoires cost 50,000GoldinThe Elder Scrolls Onlinewhen you buy them for the first time, but the cost will be reduced for any other characters you want to use them with.
you’re able to get more Luminous Ink after this quest by farming it from enemies or, if you complete all the “Wing” quests, from harvesting materials as well.
TheSoul Burst Grimoire and the Wield Soul Grimoireare both given to you as quest rewards from the zone story, one of thebest activities for new players. The latter can only be acquired by completing the quest line, but the Soul Burst will be discounted to 10,000 Gold for any other character you own to purchase. The Grimoire is a skill that you can then add three more effects to, which is how you willuse your Luminous Ink currency in the game.
After that, you can addthree Scripts to your Grimoire. There are also three different kinds of Scripts: Focus, Signature, and Affix Scripts.
