How many subscribers did Kai Cenat get?
Here are some of the best moments during Mafiathon 2, Kai Cenat’s historic, month-long livestream.
How much money did Mafiathon 2 make?
Without counting every individual subscription Kai received throughout Mafiathon, we don’t know the exact figure. It’s also a challenge to calculate because sub prices depend on where the user is, as Twitch uses regional pricing.
For example, a Tier 1 sub costs $4.99 in the US, but the same sub in Turkey costs roughly $1.26.

Kai wouldn’t receive all of this directly, with Twitch taking a cut as well as a portion of the total going to charity. Kai confirmed that 20% of the revenue he earns from Mafiathon 2 willgo toward a school he is helping to buildin Makoko, Nigeria.
From raiding a smaller streamer, causing her to burst into tears, to inviting iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove onto his channel, Kai isalready halfway to reachingIronMouse’s record just three days into Mafiathon 2 — and there’s still much more to come.

Mafiathon 2 highlights and recap

Towards the end of Mafiathon 2, Kai became visibly emotional, wiping tears away with his shirt.
“Chat, behind the scenes, I know my role in life,” he started in a direct address to viewers. “The fact that God could put me in a position to change lives is all that I love,” he continued.

You have to discipline, and put time into it. Think different, be different, live different.”
Kai gets swatted and surrounded by police
The start of Mafiathon 2 was marred by a swatting incident. Just one day into the broadcast, Cenat was swatted and subsequently banned on Twitch.
Cameras showed helicopters circling his home as police rushed in to investigate a call.

Moments after sharing footage of the police helicopter circling his location, Cenat’s account was struck off Twitch. The streaming platform banned him in the middle of Mafiathon 2 due to the swatting incident, though the punishment was quickly overturned.
While it did interrupt the continuous broadcast, Cenat was back in front of the cameras in no time.
He soon crossed the 140K sub mark when he returned to Twitch, as viewers were clearly supportive of his return. However, as a result of the ban, the VOD from the first day of the broadcast is no longer available, at least not directly on Twitch.

A few weeks afterlinking up at the VMAs, Snoop Dogg and Cenat look to be planning something proper on stream. Snoop called the Twitch star on Day 2 of the broadcast, teasing his next album and ways to promote it.

A live wedding
Keeping up the antics, Cenat hosted a ‘wedding’ of sorts on Day 2 of the stream, officiating as more than 100,000 fans watched on live. Obviously not a legitimate marriage, things soon got out of hand as the ‘groom’ confessed his ‘love’ for someone other than the bride.

On November 6, rapper DDG appeared as a guest on Kai Cenat’s stream, bringing with him baby Halo, his son with Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey.

“I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people,” Bailey said in a now-deleted tweet. “I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town.”
DDG eventually took their son off-stream, but the incident sparked a tidal wave of backlash against Bailey from fans who felt she was unfairly punishing Halo’s father.
The next day, Bailey published a tweet claiming she had“overreacted” to the situationand thanked Kai for the gifts he’d bought for Halo.
“Yesterday, maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here,” she wrote. “I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. Thank you Kai for the gifts for Halo.”

Kai said, before dancing to Lil Uzi Vert’s “Dummy Man.” “He was doing bad all year… but we got 300 though!”
