Marvel Rivalsis getting a one-shot comic and exclusive skins. Here’s everything you need to know before you start throwing money at it – or the skins that MR will launch to market its release.
Marvel is going full throttle on Rivals’ success with Marvel Rivals: Ignite. This one-shot comic sends heroes on time-traveling chaos in Japan and drops on June 03, 2025.

Peach Momoko,Yuji Kaku, Mitsuyasu Sakai, and Ryusei Yamada handle the writing and art. The comic will be in black and white but with a unique third color in each chapter, which is deliciously creative.
Because I’msureyou’re here for the plot, here’s a bit of it. In it, Sai fights Venom in a symbiotic nightmare, the Punisher meets Peni Parker and SP//dr, and Luna Snow faces off against Hela in Asgard. We don’t know about theteam comp; looks like a solo mission for each.

Momoko isn’t just drawing the comic – she’s also bringing her signature style to the game. Three new skins, inspired by Ignite, are dropping in Marvel Rivals.
While Marvel Rivals hasn’t confirmed when these designs will be available in the game, we expect them to be added to the store in preparation for or in celebration of Marvel Rivals: Ignite’s launch this June.

Marvel Rivals already boasts skins from the MCU and classic comics. You’ve got God of Magic Doctor Strange, Punisher 2099, and Blood Berserker Wolverine. These skins are just another reason to keep grinding – to see those watch those sweet details ragdoll their way back to spawn.
