In January, Google announced its Chrome browser would begin phasing out support for third-party cookies. Privacy has emerged victorious in Washington, D.C, where theU.S. Supreme Court ruledon Friday, June 22 that police generally must obtain a judge’s permission before obtaining cell phone records to track individual customers.
