She seems eager to cause chaos with her powers, which is precisely why she and Homelander work so well together. The first three episodes ofThe Boysseason 4 find them scheming with none other than Victoria Neuman, and their endgame is an incredibly sinister one.

Homelander & Sister Sage’s Ultimate Goal In The Boys Season 4 Is Taking Over The White House

The Supes Want To Install 1 Of Their Own As President Of The U.S.

Homelander and Sister Sage are stirring discontent among the masses, aiming their rage at Starlighters and the non-Supes they hope to one day lord over. As Sage points out when she first meets Homelander, even well-intended democracies fail “because people are f***ing stupid.” Sage and Homelander are hoping to capitalize on this fact to achieve their ultimate goal: taking over the White House. The pair are working with Victoria Neuman to ensure a Supe becomes president of the U.S.rather than an ordinary person. And with Neuman on-board, that dream is one death away from being a reality.

Despite her hatred of Homelander, Neuman is surprisingly easy to win over to Sage’s cause.Sister Sage also ensures that Homelander and The Seven can get the people behind them, noting that they’ll need the masses to “build [their] monuments.” Using her superior intelligence, Sage finds creative ways to raise the already-high tensions between Homelander’s supporters and Starlighters. She also determines better means of marketing The Seven, introducing Ryan as Homelander’s legacy, and dealing with dissidence.

Sister Sage Plots On Having President Singer Killed

This Will Push Victoria Neuman Into The Role Instead

In order to claim the White House,Sister Sage must remove the one obstacle standing in the way of a Supe presidency: Robert Singer. Neuman’s political partner and boss knows how big a threat powerful Supes can be, and he’s actively working with the CIA and The Boys in order to curb their influence. He hopes to get Neuman out of the way, but Homelander and Sister Sage are striving for the opposite. They want Singer and Neuman to win the election so that they can have the president assassinated. With Singer gone, Neuman will immediately take over the position.

Even if they aren’t directly sitting in the White House, they’ll hold enough sway to effect the changes they want to see.

While Neuman has many opposing stances to Homelander, he clearly believes he can manipulate her once she’s in the White House. Sage goes along with this plan, though it’s unclear if she’s playing a longer game. The duo certainly have a better chance of staying powerful if Robert Singer is removedfrom the equation. Even if they aren’t directly sitting in the White House, they’ll hold enough sway to effect the changes they want to see. And one of those will bring the country a step closer to fascism, marking a major concern for anyone who isn’t super-abled.

Homelander & Sage Will Put A Supe In Charge Of Every Police Department

This Is A Dangerous Prospect The Boys Season 4 Introduces

If Homelander and Sister Sage succeed in killing Robert Singer and securing a Supe presidency, they plan to put a Supe in charge of every police department in the U.S.This is a disturbing prospect, especially after seeing what Supes are capable of throughoutThe Boysseasons 1-3. Even season 4 highlights how deadly they are to the average human, and it’s clear Homelander only recruits people willing to do whatever he demands. The Deep and Black Noir kill innocent fans of Homelander’s early inThe Boysseason 4, emphasizing their dangerous loyalty.

Having such beings running police departments would be devastating for non-Supes, especially those opposed to Homelander and Sage’s plans. Such power would give Vought and The Seven the authority to systemically control and kill anyone who stands in their way, even if they don’t appear to be directly involved. If they can make such changes to law enforcement, they can likely infiltrate other sectors of the government as well. This doesn’t bode well for the CIA or the show’s titular black-ops team, raising the stakes significantly if they don’t kill Homelander.

Why Sister Sage Is Helping Homelander In The Boys Season 4

The New Addition To The Seven Wants To Know What She’s Capable Of

Sister Sage doesn’t come off as nearly as bloodthirsty as Homelander, and this may leave viewers wondering why she’s helping him inThe Boysseason 4. However, several of her interactions suggest she has some serious contempt for human beings, even if she’s less obvious about it. From what she tells Homelander and The Deep, she clearly looks down upon them. She may get pleasure from watching them welcome their own downfall, though this doesn’t seem to be Sage’s primary motivation inThe Boysseason 4.

Judging by Sage’s behavior, she appears to have a more academic interest in overthrowing the government and creating a world of Supe supremacy.

Judging by Sage’s behavior, she appears to have a more academic interest in overthrowing the government and creating a world of Supe supremacy. It’s almost as if Sage wants to see if she can accomplish it, curious about the limits of her own powers. Someone so smart undoubtedly has difficulty finding things that keep her engaged and interested. Homelander’s goals present a big enough challenge that Sister Sage can throw herself into them without knowing if she’ll get the outcome they want.

Of course, if Sage does come through for Homelander, it raises the stakes significantly ahead ofThe Boysseason 5. The Supes' plans to infiltrate the White House will make it even more difficult to eliminate them, ensuring Homelander and The Seven can never be opposed. Butcher’s team — or rather, MM’s team now — must find a way to stop Homelander before he and Sage get to this point. Hopefully, they find a way to take both of the Supes down before the fourth outing is through. Once the president is Homelander’s puppet, they may not get another chance.
