Summary
The adaptation ofUntil Dawnhas now added four actors to the cast. Released in 2015,Until Dawnis a popular horror video game on the Playstation platform that follows eight people as they attempt to survive through the night after they come under attack on the mysterious Blackwood Mountain. The game, which was developed by Supermassive Games, was a big hit, and was acclaimed due to its unique gameplay and the impact of player choice on the slasher-inspired narrative. Now, anUntil Dawnmovieis in the works from director David F. Sandberg.
Now,Deadlinereveals that four actors have been cast in theUntil Dawnmovie adaptation.Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo, and Odessa A’zion have all been castin the film, though information about their characters is being kept under wraps. The film is expected to be rated R.
While Sandberg’s firstShazam!was met with warm reviews, theShazam! Fury of the Godsreviewswere far more mixed.

These 4 Actors Are Stars On The Rise
As is often the case with lower-budget horror movies (or lower-budget movies in general), the four cast members above aren’t big names. This will hopefully help keep the budget down, in contrast to shelling out for a handful of big stars. That’s not to say, however, that Rubin, Cimino, Yoo, and A’zion haven’t appeared in their fair share of impressive projects.
Rubin has a few interesting recent projects under her belt, including Prime Video’sThe Idea of You, which starred Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine. In terms of TV, she also starred in the well-reviewedMasters of the Airand inGossip Girl. She’s also set tostar inFear Street: Prom Queen. Cimino has also been on the rise, appearing in titles likeLove, Victor;Annabelle Comes Home; andNever Have I Ever.
Yoo recently appeared inExpats, a seriesstarring Nicole Kidman, but she’s also had roles inFreaky TalesandSmoking Tigers, the latter of which has a 100% onRotten Tomatoes. Like her costars, A’zion is also an actor on the rise, and she recently appeared in 2022’sHellraiserremake, in addition toGrand ArmyandFam. Many questions remain about theUntil Dawnmovie, but the cast is already off to a strong start.
