Lindy & Miguel’s Journey In MAFS Season 15
InMarried at First Sightseason 15, Lindy was a 29-year-old physical therapist who was ready to give her all to one person. Miguel was 35 during the season and was an Associate Medical Director. Lindy and Miguel had sparks for each other right away and had a sweet wedding that left both of them smitten. During the honeymoon, Lindy and Miguel seemed like the most compatible couple and solidified their connection more. However,things changed once they started living together and had to open upto each other about difficult but necessary topics.
Miguel was very miffed that Lindy was not keen to give up her last name and take his, while Lindy was upset that Miguel was reluctant to put her on his health insurance. Those issues seemed minimal compared to the larger communication issues they encountered. During theMAFSseason 15 couples' retreat, Lindy and Miguel’s problems were front and center, andthey seemed like the most mismatched pair of the group. In one famous scene from that weekend, Lindy was excited to take pictures for the “Prom Night” theme they were having later.
Miguel had formed a massive attitude about Lindy’s picture-taking which became even more prominent after Lindy asked the producer to take a picture for her and not Miguel. Lindy thought she didn’t want to bother Miguel with her request, but Miguel grew upset that Lindy didn’t understand that he was not in the mood for her picture-taking desires in the first place (viaLifetime.) Lindy called Miguel a gaslighter for the way he was speaking down to her. The communication breakdown about the photos was an indication of how different the duo’s communication styles were.Their rift grew even wider as the weekend went on.Lindy was criticized byMAFSviewers for sacrificing her own happiness and desires to try and please Miguel while Miguel was chastised for treating Lindy poorly. In the end, however, Lindy and Miguel said yes to each other on Decision Day after weighing the qualities they liked in each other versus what they didn’t like. But Lindy and Miguel’s marriage only lasted just over a year, as the pair divorced in February 2023.

Lindy has formed a tight friendship with Alexis, Stacia, and Kyrsten. Over the last few years, they all have shared many posts traveling and all getting together to flex. Morgan is the onlyMarried at First Sightseason 15 bride to be left of the girls' trips, but she was standoffish with the women throughout the experience and also left the show earlier on in the season.
