Summary
There are over 100 different Talismans available inElden Ring, which bestow an incredibly wide range of effects on the Tarnished when equipped. Despite this, however, some are clearly better than others, no matter what a specificTarnished’s build inElden Ringmight be. This is because while some Talismans have fairly niche effects, others have a far broader appeal, arguably making them the best in the game.
The Tarnished can equip a maximum of four Talismans at any one time inElden Ring, assuming that they collect all three Talisman Pouches in the game. This allows for an appreciable degree of flexibility in combining the different effects, something especially useful given that a large number of Talismans are designed to cater to a specific playstyle, such as empowering certain kinds of attacks or boosting a given stat. This means that Talismans can give a Tarnished a significant edge in combat, even before taking equipment and other attributes into account.

Every New Weapon Type In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC
Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC introduces eight new weapon types, each of which puts a new spin on one of the base game’s fighting styles.
The Green Turtle Talisman Is One Of The Best Talisman Choices In Elden Ring
Although there are plenty of Talismans that can raise the effectiveness of a particular build, the bestElden RingTalismans of all are arguably those that can be worn for the entire game. Of course, in many cases, this is not actually possible outside of a New Game Plus, as most of the most powerful Talismans are appropriately hidden in late-game areas of the Lands Between. Regardless, the best Talismans inElden Ringare those that build up a Tarnished’s most basic attributesdue to their widespread utility. One such talisman is the Green Turtle Talisman, which improves Stamina recovery.
What The Most Beginner-Friendly Class In Elden Ring Is
There are plenty of starting classes to choose from in Elden Ring, but when considering stats and equipment, one is undoubtedly best for beginners.
Stamina is a crucial factor in combat. It is what allows a Tarnished to both use their own attacks and dodge those of an enemy and so it is just as important as a Tarnished’s health bar, if not more so. Of course, there are several ways to improve Stamina, from leveling up to using certain Crystal Tears in a Flask of Wondrous Physick, as well as Talismans like the various Viridian Amber Medallions. However, Wondrous Physicks are temporary by nature, whilst Medallions represent more permanent bonuses. Furthermore, the recovery rate-improving Green Turtle Talisman is particularly valuable for any build.

The Green Turtle Talisman can be found in Summonwater Village and raises Stamina recovery by 8 per second (or 17.7%). This is almost half the rate of 15 per second offered by the Greenburst Crystal Tear, but it makes up for it by not having the latter’s 3-minute time limit. This effect cannot be underestimated; no matter how much Stamina a Tarnished has, faster regeneration means that they can always attack and dodge more often, making the talisman a must-have forevery boss fight inElden Ring.
Retrieving the Green Turtle Talisman from where it is hidden requires a Stonesword Key to access the underground chamber in Summonwater Village.

Many Other Elden Ring Talismans Offer Amazing Benefits
The Green Turtle Is Not The Only Good Talisman
Of course, given the sheer variety of Talismans available, many are similarly useful. These include the Great-Jar’s Arsenal Talisman, which increases the Tarnished’s Maximum Equip Load (and consequently may improve rolling). Moreover, several ofElden Ring’s Legendary Talismansare exceptional in their effects. The Erdtree’s Favor +2 improves maximum HP, Stamina, and Equip Load to varying degrees, making any Tarnished that much more capable, while the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman gives a massive 20% reduction to all physical damage. While not as useful in combat against primarily magic-wielding enemies, any foe that employs physical attacks will be severely hampered by it.
As more health is always a positive in a Soulsborne game, Talismans that improve HP are also naturally very beneficial. A Crimson Amber Medallion +2 raises maximum HP by 8%, whilst the Blessed Dew Talisman constantly heals the Tarnished by 2 HP a second. However, there is a fine line between usefulness and impracticality, especially as the Tarnished’s HP increases. At higher levels, it can take several long minutes to fully heal with the latter Talisman alone between fights with common enemies, and the slow rate of regeneration can easily be overcome by stronger enemies in the midst of combat.

Although the exact best Talismans for a Tarnished can and will vary depending on build and playstyle, the Green Turtle Talisman makes for a perfect addition to any loadout inElden Ring. Alongside other Talismans that offer improvements to the Tarnished’s fundamentals, such as Crimson Amber Medallions, its effect can be an incredible aid in any form of combat, making obtaining it a boon regardless of playstyle. The Green Turtle Talisman is undoubtedly one ofthe most useful Talismans inElden Ring, and it is well worth taking the time to seek it out.
