The Possibilities For A Legend of Zelda Remake Or Remaster On Switch 2
There Are Multiple Entries That Can Get An Upgrade
The first option is for Nintendo to go with aremake or remaster ofThe Legend of Zelda: Twilight PrincessorTheWind Waker. Both of these games are popular entries within the franchiseand have been ported multiple times over the years, including both games getting HD versions on the Wii U. However, despite rumors stating they might arrive, they never appeared on the Switch. That could leave it open to a Switch 2 remaster should Nintendo feel it would do well.
The second option is that Nintendo could dive deeper into the franchise and doa full-on remake of a past title that hasn’t been re-released in a while or hasn’t been remastered previously, not unlike what it did withLink’s Awakening. Options for this includeThe Minish Cap, the dual Capcom-made titlesOracle of SeasonsandOracle ofAges,or possibly the Nintendo 3DS title,ALink Between Worlds. Nintendo could even do true remasters or remakes ofOcarina of TimeorMajora’s Maskif desired.
